この記事の「人類は本当に賢いのか」という問いかけには、なかなか重いものがあります。

「人間は、理性を使う前に、嘘をつくことを覚える」そうです。

「人類が理性を使うというのは、猫の水泳のようなものだ。我々はそれができないことはないのだが、いつもそれをできるかぎり避けようとする」

シミュレーションでは「CO2濃度を二倍にしたときの気候感度」を1.5℃～4.5℃ぐらいと見積もっていますが、

二酸化炭素に対する気温の反応性を調べた実験によると、「気候感度」は0.4℃ぐらいという値になるようです。
