A grass-roots movement. That would be constituted by many who went to Congress with the commitment to change Congress to make real change in Washington possible. Since that time, there has been an enormous amount of support expressed for me both directly and indirectly in this campaign. Hundreds have give their money, more than, many more than that have pledged their money, and thoursands have volunteered to support this draft Lessing movement and to support the Change Congress Organization we had announced. One fried wrote that this was kinda humbling, which is true in the sense that it was not just 'kinda' humbling, it was simply humbling and inspiring to see so many focused on exactly this kind of change, a change in the way Congress functions.
So I launched about a week ago this exploration of whether it possible to imagine conveying the message of this movement effectively in a just over 30 days, that was between now, and direction.
To this district they was never heard of me, they was never had these ideas explained to them. To covince them to vote, for me, instead of a person who spent thirty years of a life in extraordinaire public service, so extraordinaire that she has, H-Flame, named after her. What is a simple answer to that question, it is not possible.
In these supported to who we hired to considered this matter said us quite directly "there was no possible way", to imagine launching champaign, friends around these issues, against perhaps most poplar politian, in this area of California today.
Whose parsuade will brake about even Balack Obama, and Hillaly Clinton.
But certainly, we'll lose this way, in not as lose as tie contest, but lose in a big way.
Now I'm not one to oppose losing, I don't think losing is always a bad thing, in the most of my career has been a career demonstrating how losing happens.
But if ther aim of this was convinced to others to show salience of the change congress movement, and its pottential, and to inspire success and to draw attention and support, than losing big in first impotant battle is not an effective strategy. My running, and losing big, would do more harm than good to that movement.
