In the TOEIC test ,you may see answer choices which contain a gerund or an infinitive.
TOEICでは、動名詞か不定詞を含む選択肢に出会うことがあるでしょう。
Ask yourself which is required.
どちらが求められているかを考えましょう。
Some verds are followed by a gerund,while others are followd by an infinitive.You others may be followd by either.
動名詞があとに続く動詞もあれば、不定詞があとに続く動詞もあります。どちらでも構わないものもあります。

(C) live
(D) lived
(B) is the corrct answer.

The verb imagine is followd by a gerund.
imagineという動詞は動名詞を後に取ります。
Remember :some verbs can be followd by either a gerund or an infinitive.

In the examples above, both sentences are correct.
