前後のコンテキストは知らないですがこの文だけを訳すとこんな感じでしょうか。

eachは swams(蜂の群れ)の一匹一匹の蜂を示します。

to be の後に略されているのは人間（と同じような生き物）になりますね。

eachはswarm of energyまたはswarm of entitiesをさします。energy（エネルギー）とentities（実在物）は同じものです。
