具体的な原因は分かりませんけど、パソコンのトラブルは、「スキャンディスク」と「デフラグ」で復旧する場合があります。
スキャンディスクとは、ハードディスクのエラーチェックです。以下のページに手順が解説されてました。

以前、同じような状態になったことがあり、IE9を入れ直したら改善しました。
（IE9をアンインストールし、再度、インストールしました）

メモリーなどのハードの問題かもしれませんが、同じようにIE9が原因かもしれません。
回答ありがとうございます！試してみました。アンインストール時にパソコンが一度固まってしまい、起動時にウインドウズの修復とかなんとかいいながらなんとか再インストできました。いまのところはまともに？動いています。また異常があれば報告いたします。ありがとうございました！

冬なのに熱暴走しているってことは、やっぱり無いかなぁ。
ゲームなど高負荷処理をされているなら
などを参考にして、CPUの温度関係をチェックしてみては？
